WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So let me start off by saying that ALOT has changed since our last post!!!! We now aren't the Spencer 2 anymore, we are the Spencer 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We adopted our darling precious Sophia Ann Spencer!!!!! She was born on Tuesday April 12th 2011 and weighed 5lbs 1oz! She was 18 inches long!!! TINY and SWEET! We are absoulutely in heaven!! We were blessed enough to not only be able to be in California when she was born but they also worked it out so that Rick and I could stay in the hospital and take care of her just like we had given birth to her!! That was the most WONDERFUL expierience in our lives! She is now almost six weeks old and weighs about 8 pounds and is doing wonderfully! She is a great eater and sleeper and is a very happy baby! She is also very strong and alert! She is holding her head very well and loves to be awake looking around! She gave us our first smile on Monday May 16th! It melted my heart! since then she is smiling more and more! We love you our little Sophie. We are so blessed and love that you are our daughter! I will write down her birth story here when I have some more time but for now............PRESENTING.....................SOPHIA ANN SPENCER!!!!

Adams Family!!!

Today we went over to my parents house to visit with my family since my Brother and his wife and two kids were there! We had a fun bbq and visited. It was really fun because we actually had ALL the grandkidos there. I had to take the opportunity to snap some darling grandkid pictures! It all started out with the original five grandkids so I had to update a new origninal five pic. Then we took some of all the little (and big) grandkids!! Here are the pictures!! BOUTIQUE

Hey everyone!!!! I just got back from helping my sister-in-law set up for her BOUTIQUE that she is having at her house this FRIDAY 23RD and SATURDAY 24TH! There are a TON of DARLING HANDMADE items there for sale such as flower headbands, pins, jewlery, baby items and more! You all should try and check this out! PRICES are GREAT and the items are so fun! the ADDRESS is 3903 Bountiful BLVD just across from the North Canyon Park! come check it out! It won't dissapoint! DON'T FORGET its MOTHERS DAY soon!!

Oh the Holidays!!

We here in the Spencer house had an amazing Holiday season! It started out the day after Thanksgiving, we put up our tree and Christmas decor. The next event we participated in was going with my sister in laws and brother in laws to the Festival of Trees, My Sister in law Beth decorates a tree to put there every year, this year she decided to do one in memory of our brother in law Jeff who passed away in September. It turned out beautiful! Christmas Eve means the Spencer family progressive dinner and Yankee swapp! Let me just tell you we Spencers take these two thingsVERY seriously! The food at each house was SO delicious and everyones houses were so beautiful! After we were so full that we practically had to roll ourselves out of the door to go home, Rick and I did our little family tradition of opening our Chrismas Eve present. Rick always picks out the cutest most comfy jammies for me! Christmas morning we woke up and opened our gifts to eachother.This year I decided to fill Rick in on a tradition my family had growing up of getting a chocolate initial from the dutch store in our stocking, he loved it! I think that tradition will live on in this Spencer family! I got spoiled again this year like always! Rick got me a beautilful Armoire for my jewlery, a super comfy electric blanket,(he knows after 4 years with me that I am almost never warm), and a really cute sweater dress! The thing that I was super excited and surprized by though was I FINALLY got the Willow Tree statue that I have wanted for so long now!! After we finished opening our presents we headed off to my parents house where we had a super yummy breakfast followed by a game of Twilight New Moon trivia!(Yes I totally won!) Now we are looking forward to a nice and hopefully slightly less eventful 2010! We love you all and hope your holiday season was wonderful to! Happy 2010

Time Out For Women

So for any of you who aren't familiar with Time out for women it is put on by Deseret Book. It is such a wonderful 2 day conference with speakers such as Sherri Dew, John Bytheway and so on. They also have wonderful musicians like Hilary Weaks and Jenny Oaks Baker. My sister in laws and mother in law have gone to this for the last 3 years. It is such a fun girls weekend and I look forward to it all year long! Usually the one we go to is in Logan but this year since September was such a hectic month for all of the Spencers I thought we had missed our chance and was bummed. Then my sister in law Beth emailed me and said that they added a Salt Lake one this year and it was in November!! Needless to say I was super excited. We got our tickets and had the oppportunity to go to it this weekend. Can I just say how fun and wonderful this years was. It was exactly what I needed after such a crazy few months. Deseret Book says if enough people ask for it they will consider doing a Salt Lake one again next year so, for all of you who know what I am talking about, and would like them to keep coming to Salt Lake get on Deseret Books website and tell them to come back to Salt Lake!!

Goodbye condo...Hello new house!!!

So about a month and a half ago we FINALLY sold our 924 sq foot condo in Bountiful and moved into Ricks parents basement while we closed on our house. Just 2 weeks ago we were able to move into our house in Layton!! We absolutely LOVE it!! Here are som pictures of it!!
